What Is Tekken 8
Tekken 8 is a Fighting Game released in late 2023 early 2024 with a Demo in Steam, and is on console.
Players can play online with each platform together (cross-play). PS5, Steam on PC, Xbox Series x|s.
There is a new "Heat" system and the same Rage system from Tekken 7. Heat is like a "Power Crush" move and has several varieties heat crush heat engager whatever, you enter heat that drains a heat bar giving more power to moves, unique moves, and or more defense like a power crush in a way. It takes 7 moves screens to show it all in action in the moves menu it is shown with a tiny blue green type of icon what moves use heat.
The game is faster, there are extended hit boxes.
This game introduces an online arcade with mini characters to walk around with like seen years ago in PlayStation Home (online), like a sims game.\, here just used to walk around sit down to play either with others or training.
They introduced a coin store for costumes and stuff.
So far seen a few character costumes "mods" but no mod tool like Tekken 7 has. Might be out there to download?
Plays like Tekken 7 but also Turbo Tekken 7.
There are 32 default characters at launch with 4 to come as DLC with season pass 1, or whatever they do. There are new characters, Reina, Victor, Azucena. Also Jun returns again from TTT2 and before also Raven instead of the female variant, Master Raven, from Tekken 7.

Heihachi Mishima is revealed as the next character coming to TEKKEN 8 in Autumn 2024, live at Evo2024. The announcement trailer for the newest DLC character revealed for TEKKEN 8 live at Evo 2024.
So as of September 2024 no Heihachi yet just got Lidia.
