What Is (Wii) Tatsunoko VS Capcom Ultimate All-Stars
TvC or Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes (in Japan) is a crossover fighting game using a variety of Capcpm characters like Ryu and then other Japanese pop culture and media characters from other tv shows or games but I am not 100% on all of its roots as it is a varied character roster including mega man as a recognizable character aside from the few Street Fighter characters. This is a tag in - tag out any time with 2 players each side game. I think you can in this game tag in and hit the enemy but it is a minor hit, then I don't recall if there are tag in grab combo moves seems there would be some sort of cross dual participation involved unless it is all set to the super move and maybe your partner will jump in depending on the situation but I forget. There is a video below.
A Nintendo Wii crossover fighting game with some Capcom characters like Ryu and Chuin-Li.
Uses a few Nintendo controllers and schemes for the Wii Pro controller for the best full control experience, or a fight stick or the other Wii default control the nunchuk and wii-mote to play with less buttons. You do have to unlock a few characters and colors though game progress. It has the typical fight game modes like practice, vs cpu or player plus it had online mode, might be another mode I forget. The Ryu gameplay is fine as expected but the white character on the box and some other have a sort of limited move set which makes it a kind of simple yet somehow frustrating game to play with those characters since they don't do much you want them to be able to do, not that it is a lacking experience that doesn't play well, just have to figure out the characters and gameplay, often resulting in using the super power a good deal. Most 2D games have only a few moves so it isn't really lacking compared to others. I play a lot of Tekken which has 100 moves or more per character so that is why I never managed to master the white suit characters in this game despite some effort to learn them, was a lost cause despite the few moves they had that were good focused more on playing other characters, even the girl with the broom is pretty good, there are 2 giant robots for some reason then you eventually unlock Zero an additional Mega Man character that's pretty good. Then having fun with the ninja character with a sword simple as it may be he has a mix up and you can get some high air to combo with. So you can get into the flow of it and enjoy it. The guy with the big red shoulder metal covers also has a sword. I imagine if they make a sequel it will have a lot more moves per character. I generally don't like the super moves of a game like Street Fighter when the entire screen turns into an animation you watch but in this game it all works really well. Something you have to see to understand. There is a announcer who tells you when you can do it based on a points score and level 1,2,3 sort of gets old after long enough hearing the announcer.

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars controls on Wii U
Planing to get Wii version of TvC for my Wii U works with the Wii U Pro Controller?
> It should not work with the Pro Controller because it is not a VC title (as far as I'm aware). It'd only work with what it was compatible with on the Wii.
> As a person that owns this game... no, it will not work with the WiiU Pro Controller, and it also will not work with the gamecube adapter. Only way to really play is the wii classic controller (attaches to the wii-mote) on the wii-u.
> u cannot use wii u controllers with the wii application. I personally use the Tatsunoko vs Capcom limited edition wii fight stick connected to a wii remote.

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars was released on the Wii U?
> As others have said you can only use controls that were compatible with the Wii since you have to play it on Wii mode. That being said I recommend getting a fight stick for it. The Hori Arcade Stick is pretty good and goes for around $30 on eBay. You could also get the Mad Catz Wii Stick and it would be the best one you could get imo. May flash also sells an adapter which will let you hook it up to a PC via USB. It even works on PS3.

The quality of the video recording is really bad for some reason.
Killer fighting game

If you like fast paced fighting games, you will love this is the definitive fighter for the Wii, and possibly for all three major systems. The graphics are beautiful and stylish. 3-D character models and enviornments with cel-shaded style is perfect for this kind of game, the controls are flawless, and the character roster is impressive. Few fighting games are this well-rounded with quality oozing out of every aspect of the game.
There are a wide variety of different characters to choose from so things don't get old. You make a team of 2 characters that you can switch between mid battle to form impressive combos, but there are two characters (PTX-40A and Golden Lightan) that are so big that they don't get a partner. This was a nice addition since it mixes things up a bit (PTX-40A is my favorite character so far, although Ryu and Tekkaman are pretty darn awesome as well). I actually like the fact that Tatsunoko characters are in the game since it brings in a completely new roster of characters not well known in America.
The controls are variable to a wide degree. You can play with simple controls (using just the Wii remote) for novice gamers, Nunchuk + Wii remote, and Classic Controller/Gamecube Controller for experts. There are a wide variety of moves to pull off so technique and skill are very important to success.
Japanese voice-overs remain which will please many fans. I would have liked to hear English voice-acting, but there is something to appreciate about listening to your characters speaking Japanese. I guess it makes it feel more authentic.
There is the usual Arcade mode for blasting through each stage until you fight the final boss, and there are several difficulty levels to choose from (10 if I remember correctly). Survival tests your ability to last as long as possible, Time Attack sends you through a set number of levels to see how fast you can achieve victory, and Wi-fi is available to play against opponents worldwide. There are also plenty of unlockables including characters, color schemes, art work, and minigames (haven't unlocked any of these so I'm not sure how good they are). The replay value is through the roof, and I really think this is the best fighting game I've ever played.
Anybody considering buying this game needs to pick this up immediately. Let Capcom know they did an excellent job with this game!
Overall--9.5/10
